Every Wednesday, from 4:30 to 8:30 pm, shop the farmers market, enjoy live music from local bands, buy dinner from our vendors at the International Food Faire, and purchase beer or wine from Davis Soroptomists. Plenty of entertainment for the whole family, including bounce houses, pony rides by Pony Ranch Parties, clowns, face painting, Rocknasium’s rock climbing wall and more.

Market Hours :

  • Saturdays : 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (Year Round)
  • Wednesdays “Picnic in the Park” (March 16 through October 26, 2011): 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
  • Wednesdays Winter Market (November 4, 2009 through March 10, 2010): 2:00 to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesdays “East Quad Farmers Market”:  10:00 am to 2:30pm (Fall & Spring Quarters)

Picnic Day 2008

Every Year the University of California, Davis opens its door to the local community and visitors alike. This year’s 94th Annual Picnic Day will be held on April 19th. This signature event is designed to showcase the richness and diversity of campus life, as well as, the community of Davis. The event will start its kick-off with Parade Ceremony at 9 A.M., follPD Picnic Day 2008owed by the Parade, Entertainment, Departmental Exhibits, Animal Shows, and other exciting events!
